- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology required, Master’s Degree or PhD preferred
- Minimum 15 years progressive experience with a strong emphasis in exploration, mineral economics, and leadership required
- Operating experience in Indonesia required
- A strong foundation of fundamentals of geology, exploration procedures, business acumen and commercial skills required
- Proven ability to build and execute on strategic priorities, delivering significant results; required
- In-depth technical experience in exploration for multiple gold deposit styles. In-depth familiarity with porphyry and epithermal model types required
- Strong and direct communication style that gets to the point in a timely manner; responding to issues and challenges head on, required
- Excellent data and business analysis skills – ability to conduct detailed analysis, define milestones, provide business logic and calculations, meet reporting requirements required
- Ability to deliver concise business focused presentations and reports in simple to understand format to a broad audience of cross functional peers and stakeholders required
- Experience based on operating mines with a track record of demonstrating interdepartmental collaboration is highly desirable, preferred
- Availability to live and work at Indonesia is required.
