Additional functions to the role include, but not limited to:
- Assist in mine site assessments and similar site review studies
- Assist in the resolution of mining equipment product problems
- Assist Caterpillar Engineers on data analysis
- Assist in commercial tasks
- Assist in machine application that provide the best solution for a customer
- Requirement
- A final semester student enrolled in undergraduate in Engineering (Mechanical or Mining Engineering preferred).
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0/4.0.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Publications or work done in relation to the Mining Industry will be highly recommended
- Strong data analytics skills are highly desired (i.e. MS Excel advanced user)
- Initiative to participate in opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Volunteers to take on projects that contribute to a shared objective.
- Inspires others by consistently interacting with them in a positive manner.
- Min. internship duration of 6 months (targeting start on July 2022).
