- Business Lead and Opportunity
- Develop local market and Client network, create and bring in business opportunities for various businesses in the Indonesia in coordination with the Regional Business Line Leaders (RBLL);
- Focus on increasing market intelligence, continuously monitor performance on the Group’s key markets and assess possible expansion into new markets in line with the RBLL and Innovation departments of Egis.
- Ensure Egis is known to Client, present the Group as a whole (all service lines) and make sure the Group succeed the required registrations with the local Client (public or private) and secure access to actual opportunities, either expression of interest, or request for proposal, request for quotations, or opportunities to submit unsolicited offers ad-hoc;
- Propose and secure winning local, regional or international partnerships to reinforce our candidatures, maximize our chances to win orders and in line with the Clients expectation;
- Manage Client expectations as upstream as possible before the bidding process to guide the bidding strategy and give accurate market intelligence to the Tendering team and Senior management of the Region
- Coordinate with RBLLs in each domain to approach Client and promote Egis added value and differentiators either ad-hoc on specific opportunities, or for introductions to decisions makers
- Monitoring Tender Preperation
- Act as a principal support to the Indonesia Managing Directors and Tender Unit Director in charge of the proposal production:
- Monitor and actively participate in all potential tenders within the Indonesia in coordination with the Tender Unit and the RBLL as applicable
- Participate to the GO/NO GO process in coordination with the Tender Unit , and ensure decision are documented, guided, leading to clear Bid Strategy allowing the Tendering Unit to efficiently roll out bid preparation processes up to submission.
- Actively participate to the staffing strategy in relation to local and regional HR to ensure the most competitive and sustainable team for Egis is aligned
- Actively participate to the Bid/ no Bid meeting ensuring informed decisions are made by the Bid manager both in terms of Market price and strategic interest to bid
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or other relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within similar industry and locally
- Experience in dealing with private and government entities and international-funding agencies
- Background of working within civil infrastructure engineering or consulting, this could include domains such as roads, buildings, ports, water, power, railways, environmental, megastructures.
- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Team management skills
- Client-relationship development
- Excellent communication in both speaking and writing of English and Bahasa
