Digital Marketing Manager

Job Overview:
As the Digital Marketing Manager at AirAsia, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a strategy to increase digital traffic and revenue. You will be managing all digital marketing activities, including user experience. You will also be responsible for promoting AirAsia's brand image and customer advocacy, ensuring transparency and good governance, developing talents, and strengthening staff capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a digital marketing plan to cover all markets and segments, including social media, email, display, and affiliate campaigns.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure that digital and general marketing plans are aligned, and provide detailed briefings for required artwork.
  • Develop and deliver a conversion strategy to improve user experience on online booking and corporate sites.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices, and evaluate emerging technologies for adoption where appropriate.
  • Analyze campaigns, review ROI and trends to direct future activities, and work with the team to improve the analytics platform and increase learning.
  • Work with Senior Marketing Manager to identify, review and deliver new products and services to the Company's customers.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to improve ROI from digital campaigns.
  • Work in cross-departmental teams to facilitate innovation.

Key Duties:
  • Develop an annual plan and budget for the sub-department to align with the department-wide strategy, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Create, produce, and implement creative and innovative digital marketing strategies to increase awareness, revenue, relevance, and loyalty on owned channels and platforms.
  • Understand the customer lifecycle and purchase behavior, and produce detailed analysis on marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize iteratively.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and overall digital marketing trends.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising and Merchant teams to produce dynamic, engaging, and creative storytelling to ensure the success of our merchant brands, products, or category growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with the airline or travel industry is a plus.
