Junior Developer - Full Stack Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our Data team. As part of our team, you will build web-based applications for reporting purposes. Our technology stack consists of various programming languages (PHP, Javascript), popular frameworks (Symfony), database systems (MySQL, Redshift, DynamoDB) and client pivoting solutions (Flexmonster)
- Work with the team members to translate existing requirements into reporting tools and services according to the client’s needs
- Develop new features and updates for our reporting tools and APIs
- Maintain the existing tool and services backend
- Collaborate with members of the team to help them identify performance bottlenecks and suggest product improvements
- Participate in the design and requirements specification for the team’s ETL system and data warehouse
Detail Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with PHP
- Previous experience working with MVC frameworks (Symfony )
- 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience working with HTML/CSS
- Very good SQL and basic RDBMS design experience
- Strong OOP skills
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Good debugging and testing skills
- Knowledge of web application security concepts and best practices
- Experience with UI/UX design
Would be a plus:
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
- Knowledge of REST, JWT, HTTP Basic/Bearer Auth
- Experience with NoSQL solutions
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence
