HR Business Partner - Integrated Operations

Work Location : Cikarang

Key responsibilities
  • Set the People Priorities, Goals and programmes which will continually improve the Site operations, Meet Operational & Efficiency Targets, Drive Employee Engagement and Manage all people processes
  • Manage the Industrial relations and relationship with the recognized Union in a Productive, Warm and Cordial Manager to deliver Management Objectives and proactively address Union/Employee Grievances
  • Provide inputs in all areas of Recruitment and Selection, including job analysis, drafting of job descriptions, person specifications and manning structures and requirements
  • Review and evaluate staffing levels in relation to cost effectiveness and appropriate sizing and worth of job within the organisation, in conjunction with local team and Factory Manager
  • Support and advice the management team on Union & Industrial Relations ensuring effective HR policies are developed and implemented consistently throughout the organisation to ensure compliance with employment legislation and equality standards. These policies should meet organisational objectives.
  • Develop and sustain effective communications with employees on all personnel matters and act in a staff welfare capacity in appropriate circumstances
  • Drive Training, Development, E Learning and classroom learning at the Plant Location, with respect to Quality, Safety & Environmental Training in conjunction with Behavioural & Soft Skill Training
  • Contribute to the effective performance management appraisals, identification of high potentials, and also performance counselling for identified low performers.
  • Oversee compensation programs to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive salary levels. Evaluate and recommend improvements to Benefit programmes in consultation with the Regional HR Manager and the Central Rewards team
  • Ensure preparation and delivery of Individualized Talent Development Plans for identified high potentials
  • Handle disciplinary, grievance and capability cases, including disciplinary hearings, appropriately and efficiently, in line with company’s policy and procedure guidelines
  • Keep the Management team informed of relevant legislative changes that may have a knock-on effect to the Business
  • Ensure smooth transition of people mobilities together with Global Mobility.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the management standards / systems such as SWA/SMETA Social Audit, Social Safety, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP & GMP
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties and HR related projects as and when required

Qualifications And Skills:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Human Resource Management from a recognized university
  • Experienced HR professional with a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in a Factory HR role
  • Candidates must have substantial experience working in Manufacturing environment, preferably in Multinational Unionised environment
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR practices (Indonesia) with a solid track record in managing / advising on complex / sensitive legal and union related issues as well as considering the impact of new legislation and devising new HR policies and procedures
  • Strong skills in leading change, project management & building relationships
  • Commercially aware with a sound HR generalist background and proven business and commercial acumen
  • High ability to manage change effectively, display initiative and follow through on development of ideas
  • Highly developed influencing skills combined with the ability to manage a challenging and diverse client base and the confidence to question Management about actions / decisions
  • Possess excellent leadership and communication skills - credible at senior level and able to challenge the status quo
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced / fluent business English is essential
