Responsibilities

- Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment: Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to map, design and implement architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) accelerating digital transformation.
- Technical Leadership: Apply Microsoft tools and cloud technical knowledge and customer insights to create an application modernization roadmap and rapid applications deployments for our enterprise customers. Apply broad technical, industry, and enterprise knowledge to architecture projects to meet business and information technology (IT) requirements and resolve identified constraints. shaping and enhancing cloud portfolio and functionalities. Lead enteriprise customer conversations to help implement technical architecture(s) to enable a breadth of highly advanced and complex solutions. Provides thought leadership for technical architecture design, development, and deployment and supports/drives the enterprises' throughout pre,post sales and/or implementation.
- Architecture Design and Deployment: Architect Frameworks, reusable components and solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical envisioning and proof of concepts for new projects and successful deployments, infusing key governance and security frameworks (g., Centre of excellence (COE), landing zone accelerators and ALM), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. APIM, Functions, ADO, GitHub etc.)
- Trusted advisor: As a deep technical advisor, proactively resolve blockers by providing pro-active support as well as technical readiness to customers. Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers, Professional Developers and Citizen Developer teams who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers.
- Consumption (Cloud & Support) growth: Lead resiliency reviews, technical optimization to ensure all solutions deployed exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability and increase customer business value. Drives efforts to ensure that the customer's environment and applications are well-architected.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years technical sales experience.
- 4+ years project management experience.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure).
- Experience: 8+ years of success in either consulting, cloud application architecture and competitive landscape. Enterprise-scale technical experience with Microsoft Azure, architecture capabilities, implementation requirements, integrations, and future roadmap.
- Enterprise Application development Knowledge: Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)
- Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following:
- Software design, development and deployment for one or more of the following platforms: Web application server technologies, Cloud applications, mobile (Android, iOS), Linux, Windows.
- DevOps practices, including continuous planning/Agile, CI/CD, quality and security and one of the DevOps tool chains (i.e, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- One or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Python.
- Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, Microservice frameworks etc.
- Experience using integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, XCode, WebSphere) targeting Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google)
- Understanding of Low code platform and technologies such as Power App
- Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of cloud development platforms.
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
- Cerification in one or more Azure technologies AND/OR Cloud Specialization in one of key areas: App Innovation, Data & Analytics & AI, Infrastructure & Security
